Everybody Matters Podcast: Leadership Through Crisis

Some time ago, we launched Chapman & Co. Leadership Institute to help bring Barry-Wehmiller’s message of Truly Human Leadership to the world in a specific way. The team at Chapman & Co. work with organizations who are interested in aligning their business with a focus on culture and people. They are a leadership consulting firm that partners with other companies to create strategic visions, engage employees, improve corporate culture and develop outstanding leaders through leadership training, assessments and workshops.

To date, more than 40,000 leaders in more than 600 organizations have felt the impact of Chapman & Co. – from start-ups to some of the most influential companies in the world, including American Airlines, South Africa’s Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages, Grand Rapids, Michigan-based grocery chain Meijer, the San Francisco 49ers and the 2019 Stanley Cup champions, the St. Louis Blues.

In this time of uncertainty — the COVID-19 or Coronavirus pandemic — Chapman & Co. is providing resources to companies to help them navigate tough decisions and communicate clearly with their people. You can find their tools and insight on their website.

Sara Hannah, Chapman & Co.’s managing partner, and Matt Whiat, founding partner, recently held a webinar to give leaders practical tools and suggestions for leading in uncertain times. This is a deep dive for leaders to help them act with compassion, communicate with clarity and make decisions intentionally.

For your inspiration, we present an edited version of this webinar on this week’s Everybody Matters Podcast.

Truly Human Leadership is found throughout Barry-Wehmiller Companies, where Bob Chapman is Chairman and CEO. A $3+ billion global capital equipment and engineering consulting firm, Barry-Wehmiller’s 12,000 team members are united around a common belief: we can use the power of business to build a better world. Chapman explores that idea in his Wall Street Journal best-selling book, Everybody Matters: The Extraordinary Power of Caring For Your People Like Family, available from Penguin Random House.
